HERO HAIR: The REEL Wig Experience™ was honored to have designed, hand-fabricated, and pre-styled for the screen a custom principal wig and facial hair applications for actor Richard E. Grant's role as "Commander 14," and custom featured character wig & facial hair applications for actor Sean Patrick Folster's role as "Elegant Sasquatch" for AMC's "Dispatches From Elsewhere,"
created by and starring Jason Segel.
HERO HAIR's complete custom fabrication of these pieces included the following details-
Custom hand-toned & rooted virgin human hair, and HD (high-definition synthetics on HD feature film-lace. Complete hairline perimeter(s) reveal (forehead, temples & nape) with our studio's exclusive "HERO-Hairline™," the faithfully reproduced, hyper-accurate hairline of the original actor, subject or visual source reference (in this case, that of our on-location study/access with our various actors' naturally existing borders, and that of our digital pre-visualization designs)

and complete crown-to-perimeter hair trajectory-mapping through our studio's exclusive "Hair-Directional Growth-Pattern Plotting™." programming the illusion of life into every custom piece we create.
HERO HAIR also functioned under our exclusive adjunct-departmental (HMU) support (crewing) for this production, collaborating directly under the Hair & Makeup Department Heads from our first concept meetings in the HMU trailer, on-location throughout greater Philadelphia, PA, to in-house fittings with both of our actors at HERO HAIR's original Brooklyn, NY studio, and final hand-delivery to set of these prominently featured custom performance pieces.
"Dispatches From Elsewhere" further utilized HERO HAIR's exclusive beyond-the-sale services around our work, including in-person wig-technician production crewing on set as an adjunct, orbital support department (Key) to HMU (Hair & Makeup) with members of our studio's exclusive IATSE 798 team providing the following- Wig and hairpiece application/scene continuity and last-looks styling management assist of all HERO HAIR custom pieces, and de-wigging support of our actors (working under the supervision of the Hair Dept. Heads, and on-set Hair & Makeup Keys).
HERO HAIR additionally provided our exclusive REFRESH, RESET & RESTYLING™ services for all custom pieces created for this production by our studio, between shooting days.
